Free Review: ProTycoon.com

As part of my theory that it’s best to give things away for free, I’ve decided to offer free reviews on my blog. I posted the offer over at a forum I regularly visit, and quickly got four requests. Here is the first:-

ProTycoon has four main categories - web design, web development, software development and other - all further categorized into sub-categories. Being a web design and development blog myself, I’ll focus on these aspects.

First of all, the layout is nice. It’s simple, straight to the point and appealing to the eye. It’s also not cluttered with dozens of ads like some websites out there, which is refreshing. But oddly enough, the “Web Design” category seems to have nothing to do with Web Design, but rather focuses on Internet Marketing and Making Money Online.

Apart from one category having a little identity crisis, the content is quite good. Nice, in depth articles that fit the interests of the chosen niche(s) which should appeal to the audience. Some of the tutorials on PHP, for example, seem to be very well constructed and educational.

Overall an above-average blog with nice content and an OK design - check them out at protycoon.com.
