When you’re on the internet for more than a few minutes, chances are you’ll come across a site with RSS (Really Simple Syndication). But what exactly makes the average browser want to subscribe to your feed more than anyone else’s? Well, the first thing is always content, but after that, why not try making your RSS icon a little bit flashy like the people below:

The 3D-Cube-On-An-Angle Icon

This icon can be found everywhere. It’s included in at least a few Wordpress themes as default and you see it all the time. This one I found on Caroline Middlebrook’s blog. Adding an email subscription option next to it is a good idea as well. It’s originally from fasticon.

Sometimes It’s Good To Direct Your Visitors..

This blog not only has a nice, unique and original RSS icon, it also directs the visitors to it with that nice label “is delicious!”.

These icons, just like the rest here are amazing. Nice and glossy, just like the last ones, but a little bit more rounded and available in lots of colours. Very nice :D From fastion.

Square Glossy iPhone-Like Social Bookmarking Icons

These icons are also from fasticon (aren’t they great? their stuff is awesome). These have more of a rounded-square iPhone-like look to them.
