A Wordpress Theme For The iPhone

Now that the iPhone 3G has been announced, and will be launching in a bucketload of countries, the iPhone, and mobile internet in general, is appearing as a major contender for advertising dollars. This means it’ll be a major sauce of income for many people. To that end, you’re going to start to see a lot of websites pop up catering for iPhone users.

One of the easiest ways to start catering for your iPhone users, is to intergrate an iPhone theme into your wordpress blog, but only use it for people visiting your site from an iPhone. This may seem like a daunting task, but ContentRobot is here to help.

Apple Ups The iMac Specs

As you may (but most likely don’t) know, I am a fan of Mac products - particularly my lovely MacBook Pro 15″. Well they’ve recently released a new update to the iMac line of all-in-one desktop computers which no top out at the 3.06Ghz 24″ Model with 2Gb RAM, 500Gb Hard Disk, etc. But my MacBook Pro does serve me really well, so I’m not looking at getting a desktop any time soon.

But that shouldn’t stop anyone else. If anyone’s interested, they should head over to apples website and check them out.

Apple’s Safari 3.1 making it’s way onto iTunes-using computers

Most people who use iTunes or QuickTime for Windows will be aware of the updater program that updates your software for you whenever a new version arrives on the virtual shelves. Most of you will not be aware that the apple updater has been pushing software other that QuickTime and iTunes as of late. Recently many user’s of Apple’s QuickTime or iTunes on Windows have been met with an unexpected guest: Safari 3.1

Safari

Apple claims that Safari is the world’s fastest web browser (and I tend to agree for the most part), but forcing a new, unfamiliar browser upon unsuspecting Windows users is a bit sneaky. Personally, I’d be chuffed if all Windows users started using Safari, and leveraging the already huge iPod & iTunes user base is a great way to make atleast some of them switch.. But I also believe forcing it upon them isn’t the right way to go about it - it will only confuse people who most likely are just recovering from this new “firefox” thing..
